YING CAI SHEN

About Ying Cai Shen

Skywind Group produces Orient-themed slots and lots of them. Ying Cai Shen is another one of their big titles, and like most of the others, this video slot is based on Chinese luck. The theme may be predictable, but there are some wonderfully thematic symbols appear on the 5 reels and 9 paylines of this slot, alongside some rather dull and unimaginative high playing card symbols. Ying Cai Shen is not going to be an expensive slot to play by default, with a minimum bet limit capped at just 0.09 per spin. However, if you’ve got cash to splash and bucks to burn, you can actually bet as much as a rather insane 2,700.00 on this game. That is an excessive maximum wager limit for a game which is rather primitive in terms of design. You’ll expect a good non-progressive jackpot for bets like that, and unfortunately, Ying Cai Shen’s top prize of 5,000 coins is a little bit less than what we’re used to seeing from Skywind Group slots.

Special Features

Wild symbols are of considerable size and beauty in this slot. They appear as men and can substitute for all other symbols in the game save for mystery scatters. The wilds can also deliver decent prizes worth 2x, 20x or 200x your total bet when 3, 4 or 5 appear on a line. Land 3 or more of them to trigger a free games feature, too.

It’s not really a bonus, but this game also contains a Turbo Mode. It can be activated as you see fit and will spin the reels faster. If you’re in need of some fast-paced slot gaming action, this could very well be for you.

Bonus Feature

The free spins bonus round begins when 3 or more wilds appear on the reels. In this feature, players will start with a total of just 8 free games. However, a random symbol will be chosen to appear as a mystery scatter in this round. Scatters pay anywhere they land, and this can give you an added chance to bag bigger wins. You can win more free spins indefinitely by landing more wild symbols on the reels whilst the bonus is being played.
