Wild Stars Video Slot by Cayetano: Review

About Wild Stars

Cayetano Gaming’s Wild Stars is certainly a baffling and bemusing video slot, and we’re not quite sure what to make of it, if we’re being totally honest. Wild Stars is part safari, part Saturday Night Fever, although it does have a handful of human-esque imagery upon the reels. Wild Stars has chosen to make all their animals celebrities, and whether that works or not greatly depends on your own tastes. The video slot does offer a total of 30 paylines spread over its 5 reels, as well as a non-progressive jackpot 4,000 coins. You won’t have to mess about with lines or coins in this slot, though. Simply click on the total stake buttons to adjust your bet to anything from 0.40 up to 1,000.00 coins per spin.

Special Features

Now, for the special symbols. Firstly, the LP record acts as Wild Stars wild icon. When this symbol appears, it can replace all other symbols in the slot, barring free spins and instant win icons. The wild symbol does not have any monetary value of its own to offer players.

The afro-sporting monkey is this slot’s instant win symbol. When this symbol appears 3 or more times on the reels, the player will land an instant win prize. Depending on how they choose, players could pocket as much as 100x their total bet with this petite bonus.

But what about that free spins bonus icon?

Bonus Feature

The free spins bonus in Wild Stars really is quite creative. To start off with, though, you will need to trigger it. The free spins icon is shaped like a set of retro speakers. When two appear on the reels in any position, the player is rewarded with a re-spin. However, should three or more appear in any positions on the reels, then the player will trigger the free spins bonus round.

Wild Stars’ free spins bonus is grand, as it is no longer played on 30 lines. Instead, the player will have a total of 100 paylines to win on. The reels are also increased in size, which gives you more chance of landing big money pay-outs, too. Should any player land the speaker scatter during the free spins bonus, they will pocket an additional 6 free spins for their troubles. With plenty of chances to win big bonus money in this round, Wild Stars’ free spins bonus is one of the best going on the net.
