WATCH THE BIRDIE

About Watch the Birdie

Watch the Birdie is one of Rival Gaming’s slot machine games, and yes, this slot is quite literally about bird watching. They have potentially made the central bird-watcher character probably the most stereotypical anorak you’ve ever seen in a slot machine game, but the other graphics are equally as nerdy and baffling. Watch the Birdie is played over a very basic 15 paylines spread over 5 lines, and players are free to alter those paylines, the value of their coin and the number of coins they stake per line at will. At its cheapest, players are going to be looking at a minimum stake of just 0.01 per line per spin. However, if you wish to push the boat out and raise the bar, Watch the Birdie can actually set you back around about 75.00 per spin. With a good run of form on the Watch the Birdie slot, you can win around 1,500 coins in total. To bag that prize, you need to land 5 of the jackpot birdhouse symbols on a payline.

Special Features

Wild symbols appear as wild bird egg symbols. These quirky symbols can substitute for all other icons in the game, save for bonus round symbols. The wild symbols are also expanding icons, so they can cover reels vertically with wild symbols. Unfortunately, they only appear on the second, third and fourth reels of the game, and will not expand unless they actively play a part in a winning combination.

Bonus round symbols appear as bird watchers. These symbols can appear on all the reels of the game, but you will need to land 3, 4 or 5 of them on the reels to trigger the Find the Birdie Bonus.

Bonus Feature

The Watch the Birdie bonus is potentially one of the simplest bonuses you will come across. As a matter of fact, it is also rather unentertaining. Sure, you can pocket moderately decent cash prizes with this feature, although you can win just as much by landing the jackpot birdhouse symbols on the reels, if not more.
