VOLCANO ERUPTION

About Volcano Eruption

This rather unimaginatively titled video slot, actually utilises some pretty decent graphics. Volcano themed slots have been done before, but none have ever really gone to be very popular. It is hard to see Volcano Eruption breaking that trend. That slot may be appealing to first time players, but more experienced slot lovers may not necessarily find the charms of this 5-reel, 25-payline video slot that alluring. This is the kind of video slot that has a really good special feature, but isn’t terribly impressive in other arenas.

Special Features

Before we get to the special features, we need to take a quick look at the betting setup. Players can opt to wager on individual lines if they wish, as paylines are adjustable. Bets can range from 0.01 up to 2.00 per line. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the minimum and maximum wagers in this slot, but if you don’t want to do the math, we’ll tell you. Floor and ceiling bets in Volcano Eruption are fixed at 0.01 per line, per spin, and 50.00 per spin, respectively. All in all then, Volcano Eruption is quite cheap.

The erupting volcano is both the wild and the scatter symbol in this game. As a wild, it appears only on the second, third and fourth reels, and can replace all other icons in the game. As a scatter, it awards players with 2x or 5x their total bet for appearing twice or thrice upon the reels. If you do land it three times, you will trigger the Eruption Feature.

Volcano Eruption isn’t overflowing with special features, but one of their special features is enough to get you a little bit hot under the collar. That feature is the aforementioned Eruption Feature.

Bonus Features

Volcano Eruption’s Eruption Feature begins by offering players 5 free spins. The central reel will explode as a volcano erupts below it, and fills the entire reel with wilds. As the volcano continues to erupt, wild icons will be ejected onto the reels. They are effectively known as Hot Wilds. This free spins bonus round really is something else, and is by far the best feature in this video slot. You can win pretty decent cash with it, and that alone makes it worth at least a look. One downside, though, is that you cannot retrigger the Eruption Feature.
