TREASURE ISLAND

Treasure Island is a 5-reel, 18-payline video slot from Espresso Games with a 94.38% RTP. Its features include free spins, wilds, scatters, multipliers, a bonus round and a progressive jackpot, with bets from 0.18 to 22.5 per spin.

About Treasure Island

Treasure Island, is, of course, based on the Robert Louis Stevenson tale of the same name. This pirate-themed story has captivated audiences for years, so it is no surprise that it continues to be a big hit in the online casino world. Espresso Games are the developers behind this particular game, which actually has quite a lot of features considering its small-scale developers. Treasure Island features a vast array of paylines (40 in all) spread over its 5 reels. Wagering is a doddle in this game, players can quickly click on the total bet button to wager anything from 0.50 per spin (even though there are just 40 lines) up to 10,000.00 per spin. The latter is a totally ridiculous wagering range, whilst players are going to take too kindly to be told that they must pay for features. Up to 500 coins can be won if players land 5 wild symbols on any active payline in the game.

Special Features

Wild symbols appear Stacked in this game. They are also the best-paying symbols in the slot. Stacked wilds can substitute for all other symbols in the game, except for scatter symbols and additional wild symbols. Wilds take the shape of treasure chests.

Scatter icons appear as compasses and these icons can trigger a bonus feature when 3 of them appear on the reels in any position on the reels. Once 3 of them appear, players will be able to select one of the bonus scatters to win one of three special bonuses. Those bonuses include a coin win, free spin bonus or Treasure Hunt bonus.

When two barrel wilds appear on the reels, a Pirate Attack bonus begins. In this feature, the pirate ship will shoot 3, 4, or 4 cannonballs onto the reels, which will turn other symbols into wilds. Should a cannonball hit a barrel wild, the barrel explodes offering more wilds onto the reels.

Bonus Feature

The coin win bonus is rather self-explanatory, but the free spin and Treasure Island bonuses need a little explaining. Firstly, the number of free spins a player starts with is determined by an Island Hop bonus. In this feature, players can click on islands to win free spins, extra wilds, super wilds and locked barrel explosions, all of which will be added to your game, which begins after the Start Free Spins sign appears.

As for the Treasure Hunt bonus, this feature allows players to select 1 of five Xs on a map to pocket an instant coin win. Extra big treasure chests can deliver larger wins than usual in this feature.
