About Summer Games

Summer Games was released in time for the Olympics, and that is obviously the theme of this iSoftBet developed slot. Whilst there is a lot of cartoony symbols spread about the 5 reels and 20 paylines of this slot, you can also see that they are quite cleverly tied into real Olympic events. Summer Games has avoided using the “Olympic” name on purpose – since the Olympic Games are overly tetchy about anybody or anything being associated with them for sponsorship reasons. Summer Games allows players to adjust the number of lines they play with, as well as the number of coins and the value of those coins. Coin denominations range from 0.01 up to 0.25, and up to 20 coins can be wagered per line. At its cheapest, the Summer Games slot will cost players 0.01 per line, per spin. At its costliest, the slot will see them wagering up to 100.00 per spin. This sports themed slot carries a non-progressive jackpot which is fixed at 100,000 coins. In order to win that prize, you will need to line up 5 wilds on any active payline.

Special Features

Those wild symbols take on the shape of a hurdler. When wild symbols appear, they can substitute for all other symbols in the game, with the exception of scatter icons.

Scatter icons are also present in this slot (as you already know), and they take on the shape of a javelin thrower. These scatter symbols can see you bag wins worth 5 coins, 50 coins, 500 coins, or 1,000 coins if you can land 2, 3, 4 or 5 of them anywhere on the screen, respectively.

Bonus Feature

Summer Games contains a rather bland bonus round. It is triggered by landing 3 or more scatter icons on the screen. What you are looking at here is a click and win bonus round. You are permitted to choose from 5 out of 9 javelins which are displayed on the screen. Each of the selected objects will then cough up winnings which range from 200 to 5,000 coins, respectively.

What this slot could really have done with is a free spins bonus round. The lack of win really hurts its chances of being a success. Whilst click and win games can result in decent wins, they can hardly substitute a good free spins bonus round for sheer excitement.
