SPIÑATA GRANDE

About Spinata Grande Slot

It is without a doubt that Net Entertainment has this reviewers vote for being the best developer in the marketplace. Spinata Grande is a Net Entertainment fun-filled game that promises to offer all the entertainment value that they normally produce. It is a five reel slot themed on Mexican music, Pinata’s, and Dia de los Muertos. With forty pay-lines to activate, and only a 300 coin top in-game jackpot, one might wonder how on earth we could possibly win prize money, but this can be won in a whole host of ways.

Special Features

Most probably the most special feature of Spinata is the “Colossal” symbols. Much like wild sometimes expand, this developer has taken all icons and allowed them to take up space on the reels in a 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 format. Icons are mostly Pinatas – a red bull, pink donkey, yellow and green toucan, and a blue fish wearing a Mexican moustache and sombrero.

Graphic craftsmanship is spectacular as is usual for NetEnt, and five reels have been set into the animated backdrop of a Mexican border town.  Other symbols on the low paying side, are A – K – Q – J and 10 card indices, and these also appear in their Colossal version. The Colossal wild is a Dia de los Muertos skull that only occupies a 3 x 3 block, and substitutes for all other icons except the symbols which activate bonus games.

Wagering takes place over all forty lines at a bet level of between one and ten coins per line. Coin values start at 0.01, and increase through 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, and 1.00. The maximum wager is 200 coins or 200.00. This is quite a pretty price to pay for the size of the top in-game prize, but rest assured loads of bonus pay-outs are on offer.

Bonus Features

When the colossal bonus symbol activates the mini slot feature, a stick hits the piñata, and it explodes into a brand new slot game, sporting a new set of icons. These are bronze, silver and gold coins each with a higher value than the next. Depending on how much of the bonus icon can be seen on the reels, determines how many individual slot symbols appear, and this is 3, 6, or 9.

There is also a free spins feature in Spinata Grande, which is triggered by the free spins symbols appearing in the mini slot game. Three or more of these icons activates free spins where five, ten or more are given away. When an Extra Free spins icon appears, and addition spin is added to the original amount given away.
