About Royal Golden Dragon

You have probably never heard of Swintt before. That could change once you get to grips with the Royal Golden Dragon slot, though. Released in April 2020, the game is Asian in theme, and is loosely based on Chinese temples. There are 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 lines of symbols to help you land wins in the release. Players aren’t going to be able to alter those lines, and stakes are surprisingly expensive. At its cheapest, the Royal Golden Dragon slot will cost 0.40 a spin. At its costliest, you’re looking at maximum bets of 200.00 a turn. Prizes aren’t exactly going to bust the bank, either. One can only hope this is very rudimentary video slot has a few decent features to throw your way.

Special Features

There isn’t much happening in the Royal Golden Dragon slot. You will find wild symbols, and these appear as flaming dragons. They do have the ability to turn other symbols into wilds, but this is done at random, once a win has been paid out. During the free spin bonus, these symbols can potentially expand to cover entire reels. That’s about all there is to say about those.

Scatters, by contrast, appear as temples. These cool-looking icons can trigger a wheel-based bonus. Unfortunately, they do not dish out scattered cash prizes, as is common in most other video slots you can play online.

The other symbols to appear in the game can be found in virtually all other Asian-themed slots, so the slot doesn’t scream originality. The most profitable is the golden ingot and landing five of these on a line will serve up a non-progressive win worth around 1,200x your total bet.

Bonus Feature

To trigger the wheel-based bonus, players are going to need at least three scatters to appear on the reels. Players will get to win a series of free spins, or they will pocket an instant win cash prize. As mentioned, during the free spins, wild symbols can expand to cover entire reels from time to time. The free spin bonus can be retriggered with further scatter icons, but that is about all this slot has to offer during this round. There doesn’t appear to be any multipliers or other goodies thrown into the mix. In truth, this round could have done with one more feature to bring it up to par with other major video slots with similar themes.
