About Road Trip
Road Trip is a pretty stylish looking video slot, which is based on a great road trip across the United States. Route 66 is the road which features heavily in Saucify’s slot. In terms of gameplay, the slot contains the usual 5 reels, but only 9 paylines upon which players can win. At most, players can win up to 7,500 coins in this non-progressive jackpot video slot.
Special Features
Road Trip isn’t heavy on special features, so you can understand that it won’t cost you very much to play. The video slot will permit players to choose coin values which range from a low of 0.01 up to no more than 0.25 in total. Between 1 and 5 coins can be staked per payline, and players have the ability to adjust all of the paylines that feature in the slot. Ultimately, your minimum and maximum wager limits in this game range from 0.01 per line, per spin, up to 11.25 per spin. The slot is hardly going to bankrupt its players.
Players will wish to land several of the cool looking car icons. These symbols are wild, and only appear on the second and fourth reels of the game. When they do appear, they can expand to cover those entire reels, meaning that players could pocket truly sizeable wins. Wilds can replace all other symbols in the game, with the exception of the scatter icons.
Those scatters are represented by the Route 66 road sign. Scatter signs can offer multiplied winnings when two or more appear anywhere on the reels. Scattered wins are worth 2x, 5x, 40x or 100x your total stake, when 2, 3, 4 or 5 of them appear anywhere on the reels, respectively.
Bonus Features
Unfortunately, Road Trip doesn’t contain any bonus features. There is no free spins round, nor any kind of pick and win game. For a Saucify slot, that is most disappointing. What started out as a potentially exciting slot, is greatly let down by the lack of any bonus games. As good as expanding wilds are, they simply don’t replace a good free spins bonus. Scattered wins and expanding wilds are unlikely to draw in a big crowd, since many other slots contain these features. Road Trip as a slot then isn’t really destined for greatness, which is a shame because it has a rather unique theme.
