Oil Mania is set in the days when wildcatters were looking to strike it rich by finding oil in the open lands of the American west. Everything you expect to find in that kind of setting is in this game which was developed by Next Gen Gaming.

Features
Among the many symbols you'll find in Oil Mania is a hardy oil worker, though with overalls and a mustache, he looks more like a character from the Super Mario game. There is also a big-wheeled vehicle that looks like it might have been designed around 1900. Another symbol looks like a steam engine, which is apparently bubbling with pressure. There is also a stock market graph used to track the market price of oil.
Since there is no wild symbol in the game, the most important icon in Oil Mania is the Scatter symbol, the Tycoon. He has a big smile on his face and is holding a cigar in his hand. He also carries an umbrella, apparently to shield himself from the hot sun, or possibly the spurting oil. The Tycoon symbol is only on reels 2, 3 and 4, but when he appears anywhere on any pay line, he triggers a potentially lucrative bonus game.
Object
The payoffs in Oil Mania are quite good even without a Wild symbol in the regular game. Except for the six playing cards, all the symbols pay off with just two on a line.
If you get five of the vehicles on one line, you;ll get back 1,000 units for each one you bet. Even better would be five of the oil worker, which pays off 2,500 times your line bet. Even if you get just four of the oil worker symbols, it returns a very nice 500-1.
Bonus Game Features
The Oil Mania bonus game is clever, unique and certainly appropriate for the game's theme. Whenever and wherever the Oil Tycoon appears, the player gets awarded three free games. An oil well then appears under the reel gushing oil. This is known as the “Upwild Feature.”
Wild Oil grows up one spot on the triggering reel with each free spin. On the first free spin, the lowest spot is turned Wild. On the second spin, the middle spot on the reel is also wild and for the third free spin, the entire reel is wild.
The Upwild feature can be re-triggered if the Oil Tycoon reappears, so there is no limit to the amount of free spins you can collect during Oil Mania slots.
