ODYSSEUS

About Odysseus

On his return from Troy, the legendary Odysseus encountered some terrifying monsters and had many adventures. Some of those have been brought to life now in this simple but enjoyable video slot, which has been created by Playson. Odysseus is a 5-reel video slot which offers you a total of 30 paylines to win on. Odysseus offers players a non-progressive jackpot of 500 coins to be won, if they land can land five of title character icons on any active payline.

Special Features

Wagering on Odysseus requires players to click on the arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen, to adjust their bet per line and the number of lines that they wish to play with. Bets range from 0.01 up to 1.00 per line, which means that total bets have a minimum stake of only 0.01 per line, per spin, and a maximum limit of 30.00 per spin.

A Greek trireme warship is the game’s wild symbol. The wild is pretty basic in this video slot. It can replace itself with any other symbol that the player needs to complete a winning payline, but that is about all. The exception to that rule, of course, is the scatter icon. The wild cannot replace that.

Speaking of scatter icons, you may wish to keep an eye out for them. If a player lands 3, 4 or 5 of them located anywhere on the reels, they will trigger a free spins bonus round consisting of 10, 25 or 100 free spins, respectively. Additional free spins can be had if a player lands 3 more scatters during gameplay.

Bonus Features

After a successful win, a gamble game is playable – but only if you wish to be. Personally, we’d avoid this like the plague. Following a win, at the bottom of the screen, a gamble button will appear. If you click it, you’ll be taken to the gamble screen. Players can gamble up to five times in a row, and if they get it right, they could either double their winnings, or quadruple them. However, you only have a 50% chance of success. Players can gamble up to five times in a row. Losing the gamble feature will see the player lose their recently acquired winnings. In short, it just isn’t worth it. Perhaps you think differently, though?
