About Lucky Day at The Races

Lucky Day at the Races is a horse racing themed video slot, and one which has been designed and developed by Top Game. This slot is far more comical than many other video slots of a similar theme. It also provides you with the opportunity to get down and dirty with a colourful and creative title which offers its players a non-progressive jackpot which is worth a cool 4,000 coins in all. Lucky Day at the Races can see players able to select coin sizes of 0.01 up to 5.00 in all, whilst at the same time staking bets on up to 20 lines over the slot’s 5 reels.

Special Features

In order to win that aforementioned 4,000-coin non-progressive jackpot, players need to line up 5 grey mare horse symbols on any active payline. Doing so will see you win the top prize.

Wild symbols aren’t able to offer you cash prizes on their own, but these wild symbols can actually see you able to use them as substitutes for other symbols. The only exception for wilds is the bonus and scatter icons, which they cannot replace. Wild symbols take the shape of a golden horse racing trophy.

As for bonus icons, they appear as jockeys riding horses. When these symbols appear from left to right on consecutive reels, the player will activate the Play the Ponies feature. Players must use this feature to choose their winner. Once a winner has been selected, a petite race ensues and the player will pocket cash prizes based on their choice.

Bonus Feature

A secondary bonus round has also been included in the Lucky Day at The Races slot. Three or more scatter icons landing anywhere on the reels will trigger this feature. Scatters appear as a lady with binoculars, watching her favourite racers. The bonus round is actually a free spins feature, although it is a pretty stereotypical one at that. Players will have the chance to bag more than decent wins with these free spins, although there is hardly anything superb about the feature.

What you have with the Lucky Day at The Races video slot, is a comfortable, friendly, and entertaining enough video slot, albeit one which doesn’t really have the features to do it justice. Still, as far as Top Game slots go, this one is amongst the best.
