LUCKY 88

Lucky 88 is a 5-reel, 25-payline video slot from Aristocrat. Its features include free spins, wilds, scatters, multipliers and a bonus round, with bets from 0.01 to 120 per spin.

About Lucky 88

Of course, the Lucky 88 slot is a Chinese themed video slot, and it is Aristocrat’s take on this often-overproduced genre. The look and feel of this slot are so very Aristocrat, with players able to select from the 25 lines present in the game, as well as choose line bets which range from 0.01 up to 5.00 in all. This will see your total bet range from a floor of 0.01 per line per spin, up to 150.00 per spin total. Players can win as much as 888 coins in this slot. To bag that prize, they are going to need to line up 5 of the wild symbols on any active payline.

Special features

A man appears as a wild symbol in this slot. When he does appear, he can substitute for all other symbols in the game, except for the scatter symbol. Wilds can result in you winning the non-progressive jackpot with a bit of luck. Wilds are also perfectly capable of multiplying your total winnings by 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 18x, 38x, or even 88x the normal rate of pay.

Scatter icons appear as lanterns. These scatters can offer you scattered wins worth 1x, 2x, 8x, or even 188x your total bet when 2, 3, 4 or 5 appear anywhere on the reels. Scatter symbols can also trigger a free games bonus with a bit of luck.

The bonus feature in this slot is triggered by landing 3 or more scatters in any position on the reels of the slot game. Once the bonus is activated, players can choose whether they would like to roll dice, or play a free spins feature.

Bonus feature

If they choose the free spins feature, players will next get to choose the kind of free games feature they would like to play with. One option is to play with 4 free games and wild wins worth 88x the normal rate of pay. Another option is to play with 8 free games and wild wins worth between 18x and 88x. Play with 15 games and you’ll get wild multipliers worth between 8x and 38x, whilst if you choose to play with 25 games, you can enjoy wild multipliers which boost your winnings by 5x-18x.

Should you choose to place the dice feature, you will get a total of 3 rolls. This is a complex feature, which involves trying to roll 8s. The numbers on the dice correlate to cash prizes and multipliers, and although wins are small, they tend to be frequently occurring in this feature.

Aristocrat’s Lucky 88 is jam-packed with features, so you’ve got plenty to enjoy in this slot machine. Its gameplay is enjoyable, too, even if its imagery is a little vague. We’ve seen it all before with slot’s in this genre, but like we say; if you like gameplay more than graphics, Lucky 88 could be right up your alley.
