About Hotline

Hotline is one of the more original and creative slots to debut in the online casino world right now. Net Entertainment have a knack for producing new features in their games, and that is certainly what you’ll find in this 1980s themed game. Set in Miami and with a heist/Miami Vice theme, Hotline is played over 5 reels and 30 paylines, with bets stretching from a floor of 0.15 per spin, up to 150.00 per spin. The slot has varying RTP rates (depending on how many Hotlines you have active), so expect them to range from 96.13% up to 97.04%. As for prizes, you can hope to win as much as 200x your total bet with this non-progressive jackpot slot.

Special Features

Let’s look at Hotlines now, since they form the basis for this game’s special features, as well as its title. Hotlines appear to the left of the reels, and these can be switched on or off as you wish. Each Hotline has the potential to expand any wild symbols which appear on it. When this happens, a free re-spin is handed to players with the expanded wild remaining in place. Players can choose to play with 1, 2 or 3 Hotlines at a cost of 1x, 2x or 3x their total bet.

The wild symbols themselves appear as red sports cars. These Ferrari-like symbols can substitute for all other icons in the game save for scatter icons.

Scatter symbols appear as sunset symbols (with scatter written across them). These symbols can trigger a free spin bonus when 3 of them appear on the first, third and fifth reels of the base game during a single spin.

Bonus Feature

Once the free spin bonus round begins, players will receive a total of 7 free games. During the feature, any wild which appears on a Hotline will not only expand and offer a re-spin, they will remain in place for the duration of the bonus round. Since this bonus round tends to dish out the big bucks, players are not going to be able to retrigger the bonus round once it begins, making scatter icons essentially useless in this feature.
