Hairway to Heaven Video Slot by Real Time Gaming: Review

About Hairway to Heaven

The comical pun in this slot’s title should give the game away a little. Hairway to Heaven is an RTG developed slot, and one which is based on the fairytale of Rapunzel - of sorts. This slot contains 5 reels and 50 paylines of gaming action, and like most RealTime Gaming slots, it offers a progressive jackpot. In fact, it offers two of them. Hairway to Heaven allows players to wager anything from a low of 0.01 per line, per spin, up to a high of 5.00 per line, making it surprisingly cheap given what you could potentially win. The progressive jackpot prizes tend to be worth around a thousand credits, and several thousand credits for the Minor, and Major jackpot prizes, respectively. There is also a non-progressive 5,000-coin prize in this slot.

Special Features

There is a wild symbol in this slot, and it appears as the princess - we’ll call her Rapunzel. Unfortunately, the princess icon is only capable of cropping up on the third reel of this slot, but it can substitute for all other symbols, including the scatter icon, oddly enough. Wild symbols can expand to occupy whole reels and can double your winnings.

Land three or more prince scatter icons on the reels, and you will trigger a bonus round in this slot, as well as pocket scattered wins. Scatter icons count no matter where they land on the reels. They don’t just have to appear on a specific payline.

As expected, the two progressive jackpot slots in this RTG developed game are triggered at random. There is nothing you can do guarantee a win, but the more you wager, the more likely you are of triggering the Major jackpot over the Minor one.

Bonus Feature

Once you have land enough scatters, you will be treated to one of three bonus rounds in this slot. They are known as the Damsels in Distress, Princess Pays, and Hairway to Heaven bonus rounds. Each offers between 5 and 20 free spins, and multipliers have been worked into the design of this slot’s free spin bonus rounds. The multipliers in this bonus round increase as the game goes on. Each bonus is somewhat different from the other, so players may wish to take their time and pick the right type of free spins bonus for them in this fairytale themed slot.
