EVANGELION

About Evangelion

Now that Net Ent have released their Koi Princess themed slot, the chances are that this 888 Gaming developed, Japanese Manga/Anime themed slot will also gather a bit of attention amongst casino players. Evangelion came first, and is actually more faithful to the art than Koi Princess, but Koi Princess is more commonly available. Evangelion can only be found at 888 gaming sites, after all. This slot is played over 5 reels, and players do not have the option of adjust the number of lines they play with. They can choose coin values of 0.01 up to 1.00, and bet as many as 4 of those coins per line. Players will find that their bets range from 0.25 per spin (due to the presence of 25 lines), up to 100.00 per spin. Maximum wins in this slot are capped at 1,250 coins.

Special Features

This non-progressive jackpot slot is not exactly heavy on special features. The game contains a single wild, and it can replace all other icons, save for a scatter. Wilds do not cough up any winnings on their own.

Scatter symbols take the shape of a man. When this icon appears 3, 4 or 5 times in any positions on the reels, the player will trigger a free spins bonus game. Players can use a pilot to drive a robot and save the human race. The free spins bonus features stacked symbols to increase your chances of success.

Bonus Feature

If the player lands the penguin on the reels, the critter will start messing about on the reels. It can only appear on the third reel, and offer you multipliers on your total bet. It will provide you with a decent cash win from out of nowhere.

Okay, so the Evangelion video slot is not as energetic, as big paying, or as entertaining as Net Ent’s Koi Princess slot. However, it does pay homage to the drawing arts a lot better than Koi Princess. Understandably, though, give this slot’s lack of publicity, it is likely to remain the smaller sister of Koi Princess. If you wish to give it a whirl, though, you will have to heard on over to an 888 Gaming powered casino.
