About Diamonds Down Under

Australia has been known for its Diamonds, but from the look and feel of this slot machine, you could hardly tell that Diamonds Down Under was about diamonds at all. This a very Australian themed video slot, with aborigines, kangaroos, koala, crocs, goas, signposts and “imitation Fosters” beer cans all present on the reels as payable symbols. The stereotypical slot offer a flavour of Australia, but not exactly one which we haven’t seen before. There are just 15 lines present on the 5 reels of this slot, and players can alter those as they see fit. They can also flex their financial muscle by choosing coin values which range from 0.01 up to 1.00, and betting as many as 5 of those coins per line. Floor bets in this slot cost just 0.01 per line per spin. Those players who are flusher than most can wager as much as 75.00 a pop on this slot machine game, whilst trying to win a non-progressive jackpot which is capped at 5,000 coins in all.

Special Features

Diamonds Down Under contains a wild symbol which appears in the form of a pick axe. This pick axe symbol can replace all other icons on the game to form winning combinations when possible. Wilds cannot replace scatters, and they are the best-paying symbols in this slot machine game, responsible for the 5,000-coin jackpot we mentioned earlier.

Scatters appear as aborigines. These symbols can offer you a total of 10, 20 or even a hefty 100 free spins if they appear 3, 4 or 5 times in any positions on the reels during the bonus round. During the free spins bonus round, any winnings you pocket will be multiplied by 3x the normal rate of pay.

When 3 or more maps appear on the reels during the base game, players will have the chance to trigger a basic click and win bonus round.

Bonus Features

Don’t expect too much out of the Diamonds Down Under secondary bonus feature. To begin with, this is a very simple and basic instant win game. Players can will be tasked with selecting various location on a treasure map. Once they have done so, they can click on them to see if they have discovered any diamonds.
