Day of the dead slots game was first released in 2013 to online casino players before making its debut at land-based casinos.

The game's artistry incorporates Mexican motifs with the classic casino cartoons to create vibrant and engaging visuals. The symbols of the game includes two kinds of traditional Mexican celebrations that sets off when players combine them in any winning sets, thus giving you with a short piece of skeletal dancing before returning you to the spinning reels. The game's audio and visual effects give a truly remarkable casino experience.

The Multi-Way Xtra Wager System used by IGT has made Day of the Dead one of the most popular slot games amongst casino lovers. The combination of higher winning prospects and a fun-filled experience makes the game a favorite for both high rollers and low stake players.

Special Features

The excitement of the game is built around two key features. A unique deck of wild icons provides players with the potential of higher winnings if they open a larger number of combinations. Secondly, the inclusion of the scatter symbol means that players get awarded if they land more than two of these icons on any active pay line.

In this game, the wild and scatter icons are denoted by a coffin-shaped cookie and vibrant skull respectively. Except the scatter icon, the coffin-shaped cookie (denoting the wild icon) can be used to replace any other icon. A player who lands three or more scatters across the reels will be provided a multiplier of up to fifty times his original bet.

Bonus Feature

The bonus game is triggered when a player lands 5 bonus icons on subsequent reels. Each time a player hits a winning combination, he gets rewarded with eight free spins. The composition of the bonus round means players stands a chance of winning up to 96 free spins. The winning potentials of the bonus game makes it one of the most rewarding features amongst slot games.
