About Crystal Crush

Although Crystal Crush is unlike a typical slot game with reels and paylines, it offers an exciting gameplay with unique features. It is developed by Playson. The play area is a brightly-colored hexagonal grid with 61 individual positions. The game uses cluster pays instead of paylines. The background shows a beautiful blue water body with castles, bridges, and hot air balloons afar off. The vibrant graphics and the pleasant soundtrack create a fun-filled ambiance. There are six gemstone symbols, each with a different color-orange, green, blue, red, turquoise, and purple, along with crystallized icons.  

The game's return to player ratio is 95.64%. The betting range starts from a minimum of 0.25 to a maximum of 100 coins per spin. A player needs a minimum of five identical symbols to earn a payout, while nine or more matching symbols are required for a maximum payout. The game uses a cascading symbols feature where for every winning combination, the winning symbols are removed and replaced with new ones. This process continues as long as a new winning combination is formed. The orange icon is the highest paying symbol, while the purple icon is the least paying. Below the hexagonal grid are the command buttons needed to play the game. An Autoplay option is available.

Special Features

Crystal Crush has some remarkable features, including multipliers, random wild symbols, and Crystal Crush random feature. The wild symbol is the hexagonal-shaped golden icon with ‘W’ etched on it. It substitutes all symbols to create winning combinations. The game has six wild multiplier meters-three on each side of the playing grid. For every win with a symbol of a given color, the respective meter increases, and additional wilds are added to the grid. The crystallized icons are special symbols that do not attract a payout on their own. As the player gathers wins, they also gather crystallized symbols next to them. Every third crystallized symbol awards a new bonus level for the specific color.

Bonus Feature

Crystal Crush has six bonus Levels. In Level 1, wins of a single color get a 2x multiplier; in Level 2, up to three random symbols of the same color become wild; in Level 3, wins of a single color get a 3x multiplier; in Level 4, up to six same color random symbols become wild, in Level 5, all wins with the color symbol get a 4x multiplier, and in Level 6, all symbols and the crystallized icons of the same color turn wild. During a non-winning spin, the crystal crush feature can be randomly triggered and two bonus levels awarded.
