About Coyote Moon

Coyote Moon is one of the more successful video slots to be released by IGT. The game centres itself on North American wildlife, and there are hints of a Native American theme running throughout the slot, too. Coyote Moon is played over 5 reels and 40 paylines, which – surprisingly for an IGT slot – are adjustable. Not only can players select any of the 40 paylines to play with, they can also choose line bets which stem from 0.01 up to 50.00 per line. Coyote Moon can be played for as little as 0.01 per line, per spin, then – although some casinos may have fixed the number of paylines, meaning that a minimum bet may yet cost you 0.40 per spin. At its most expensive, Coyote Moon will only ever cost you 2,000.00 per spin. Few of us will ever be wagering those kinds of sums on a single spin, though. The top prize in this video slot is a non-progressive 1,000 coins.

Special Features

The Coyote Moon logo is an important symbol, as it acts as a wild icon. Wilds can replace all other symbols in the slot, barring the scattered free spin symbols. Wilds do not have any cash prizes to offer you on their own, though.

As for the scatter icons, they appear as Native American imagery. They can only appear on the second, third, and fourth reels of the slot, but if you land them on those reels at the same time, you will trigger a free spins bonus, as well as pocket a 2x multiplier on your total stake.

Bonus Feature

The free spins feature in Coyote Moon consists of 5 free games in total. During this bonus, players will be playing with an alternative set of symbols, with the animal icons changing to “night-time” imagery. The scatter icon has also changed, and it has turned a green colour. This scatter icon can offer you another 2x total bet multiplier you land 3 on the central reels, as well as provide you with an additional 5 spins which will be added to your free spins tally.

Coyote Moon has a RTP rate of between 92.50% and 94.98%, which isn’t overly brilliant. Even so, you do tend to bag some reasonable cash prizes when wins do appear on this game. The theoretical maximum win in the free spins bonus – for instance – is 25,000,000 coins. We thought that would make your jaw drop.
