If you have heard - or even played - the popular board game, Cluedo, then this game should feel familiar since it's inspired by and based on the same premise. If you’ve played the game before, you will find that the slot version adopts elements from the original game.
The symbols used in the game can be grouped into two value grids. The low-value grid consists of playing card symbols of A, K, Q, and J while the high-value grid consists of symbols of characters of Mrs. Peacock, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, and the game’s logo as well as symbols of pipes, wrenches, and daggers. As usual, playing card symbols are the least paying icons of the game while symbols directly inspired by the game are the high-paying symbols. Of the high-paying symbols, the game’s logo is the most valuable.
To win a reward in the game, you need to land a matching combination of three or more symbols on an active pay line. The reward you get for doing this will depend on the value assigned to the symbol that makes up the combination. For example, a winning combo of CLUEDO icons will reward you with 500 times the value of your stake for landing a matching combo of five on a pay line.
The game also features an interesting dynamic: a set of reels that are activated when certain symbols land. This reel set - known as Room Reel sets - is activated when the respective Room icon shows up on the main reels. When this happens, the new reel set will take the place of the middle reels.
The game features multiple wilds which all play the role of substituting for other symbols to form a winning combo except that each wild subs for a unique set of symbols.
There’s also a scatter symbol which comes in the form of mansion symbols. The scatter icons are the key to activating the free spins round of the game.
Bonus Feature
To activate the bonus feature of the game, you need to land scatter symbols on the first, third, and fifth reels of the main reel set. If you are able to do this, you will be rewarded with seven free spins.
There’s also a bonus game which is triggered when you land three scatters on the first, second, and third reels. When this happens, you will be required to select seven cards to unveil suspects, rooms, weapons, multipliers or the master slot detective.
