About Battleship

Battleship is a basic video slot, and one which is based on the popular children’s game of the same name. It features some rudimentary graphics, but its successful and attractive theme makes many players overlook that. Battleship is designed and developed by IGT, and is played over a total of 5 reels and 40 paylines. You won’t have too much control over how much you can bet per spin in Battleship. Minimum wagers are guaranteed to cost you around 0.40 per spin. However, if you prefer to “push the boat out”, you can stake as much as 2,000.00 per spin on this IGT online slot. Maximum prizes are capped at 1,500 coins in this game.

Special Features

IGT have chosen the Battleship as their wild symbol. This wild can replace all other symbols in the game, as you might expect, with the exception of the bonus symbol. If the player lands one of more wild symbols in a winning combination on the reels, then they will have that win doubled.

A bonus icon is also present in the game, and that symbol is represented by a “bonus square”. This symbol can appear up to 5 times on the reels. Land 3, 4, or 5 of them in any position and you will trigger the Victory Bonus. Either 2, 3, or 4 extra missiles will be added for each scatter you locate on the reels.

Overall, this slot has fairly decent features, but it also needs to. The pay-rate is between 93.37%, and 96.82%, so there really isn’t a lot to expect on every spin. Fortunately, a free spins round is present in the game, and that can help massively.

Bonus Feature

In Battleship’s bonus round, all of the ships on the board are automatically targeted by one missile. You can then use your additional missiles to target ships of your choosing. Each hit on a ship you make (not necessarily destroy) will award you a number of free spins, a free spins multiplier, or an instant win cash prize. After the Victory Bonus round is completed, any free spins you have won will be paid out to you, for use in a free spins bonus round. Understandably, you cannot retrigger the free spins bonus game. The maximum amount you can win with a successful free spins bonus round has been capped at 25,000,000 coins in this slot, which is rather considerable.
