About Archibald Mayan Ruins Slot
We have watched while Archibald has discovered both Africa, and the Orient, and now it is time to join him on his journey around the World to Mayan Ruins. This third in a series of video slots is brought to our desktops and mobile devices by WM Scientific Games Company which develops slots and other casino games under the Williams brand. This, like the other tales of Archibald, is a five reel, fifty pay-line game with a top prize in the base game of 1000 coins, but loads of lovely bonus features to take advantage of too.
Special Features
The rather odd looking Archibald is on his travels again, and he is still wearing the same clothes. He stands to the left of the reels which have been set into a Mayan Temple-type backdrop that is very similar to the Oriental version of this slot. Square Mayan designs in engraved runes form the majority of the icons, and these are all different designs, as well as different colours. It’s a little like playing with Mahjong tiles, and these icons do not spin like reels.
A wild icon is a green tile set with a shield of gold, and substitutes for all other symbols barring the Bonus and Free Spins symbols. This wild also multiplies based game winning lines x two when substituting. A surprise symbol is also revealed after a random number of spins which replaces another icon.
Players are able to activate, one, five, ten, twenty-five, or fifty lines on the user interface. They are also able to choose a bet size from 0.02, through various choices, up to 2.00. A maximum wager costs €100.00. There is an auto-play toggle on the user interface too.
Bonus Features
Free Spins are triggered by the cerise coloured rune stone – this is the scatter icon, and between two and one hundred spins may be given away. The amount awarded is dependent on how many of these icons drop onto the reels. During this feature all winnings are multiplied x three on line bet.
An additional bonus feature is triggered by the symbol of Archibald. Players are offered one of four pyramids to choose from, and Archie starts climbing the chosen one. As he climbs he collects golden coins – each of which has a value assigned. This value is then added to the accumulative prize total. At the end of the climb, the total amount of prize money is revealed.
