About Angels vs Demons

Thunderspin’s game is just one of many slots out there with the title, Angels vs Demons. This game was launched in 2019 and is one of the most fantastical looking games, and there are similarities with the less-than-realistic Good Girl Bad Girl from BetSoft Gaming. A highly volatile release, with an RTP rate of 96.04%, the 5-reel, 20-line slot does at least offer you the chance to win in both directions and costs between 0.20 and 200.00 a spin. There is no shortage of special features woven into the Angels vs Demons slot, either, while the non-progressive jackpot is capped at around a thousand times whatever you happen to stake.

Special Features

Two types of wild symbols appear in the game. Angel Wilds can show up on the first reel, while Demon Wilds can appear on the fifth reel. When they appear, they will trigger a re-spins bonus. Angel Wilds will then “walk” from the leftmost reel to the rightmost (it is a case of vice-versa for the Devil Wilds), triggering additional re-spins until they disappear. Naturally, wilds can replace all other standard paying symbols in this slot.

Triggering the free spin bonus is done in a unique way in this game. There is no use for scatters or bonus symbols. Instead, you will activate a free spin round when Angel and Demon Wilds face each other in a row. This will see them merge to create a Double Wild before they disappear and trigger the free spin bonus.

Bonus Feature

Angels vs Demons’ free spin bonus has three types of free spin modes, and the one you get depends on the zone that emerges. With Angel Free Spins, you will get five free spins, but see all the demonic symbols removed from the reels. Devil Free Spins sees the angelic symbols removed from the reels. Lastly, if you trigger the Totem Free Spins, you will be able to see all the symbols appear. However, wild symbols can expand to cover reels before walking across them as usual.

The bonus round takes a bit of getting used to in this game. However, it is quite clear that there does not appear to be an advantage in having one bonus over another, with moderate success possible in all three free spin bonus rounds in Angels vs Demons.
