About Aloha Cluster Pays

NetEnt’s Aloha Cluster Pays is a one-of-a-kind video slot, and one which doesn’t conform to your usual standard video slot gameplay structure. There are 6 reels which you wouldn’t expect to find in a video slot, but no paylines as such. This is because the game relies on players landing cluster of symbols, rather than combinations on paylines. Players can still choose coin sizes of 0.01 up to 2.00, and they can wager up to 10 of those per spin, giving the slot minimum and maximum wagers of 0.10, and 200.00 per spin, respectively. Players can win as much as 10,000 coins in this non-progressive game.

Special Features

The way that this slot works is rather simple. Players must form clusters of symbols on the reels. A symbol is part of a cluster if it is horizontally or vertically linked to other identical symbols. Players need nine or more symbols in a cluster to bag a prize.

The question mark acts as a wild symbol, and it can replace all other symbols in the game, with the exception of the free spin symbols. They offer no cash prizes of their own.

Any win you have with clusters will trigger a Sticky Win Re-Spin in the Aloha Cluster Pays slot. During a Sticky Win Re-Spin, all winning symbols will be held and other symbols will be replaced by new ones. You will keep bagging re-spins as long as you keep landing winning symbols.

Bonus Feature

A free spins bonus also features in the Aloha Cluster Pays game. Free spin symbols appear as tropical island stamps. If you land 3, 4, 5 or 6 of these symbols anywhere on the reels, then you will trigger a total of 9, 10, 11, or 12 free games. Players can also win additional free spins by landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 additional scatters during the bonus. This will see you bag 1, 2, 3, or 4 additional free games. The bonus round also features a Symbol Drop bonus, where the low paying symbols are removed from the bonus, so that players stand a better chance of landing bigger wins. The last free spin in the slot must provide a win. If it doesn’t, then players will get another free spin, and so on and so forth until the final spin yields a win to the player.
