ACTION JACK

About Action Jack

Developed by High 5 Games, Action Jack is this provider’s take on the popular adventure-explorer theme commonly found in video slots. While it may not have quite the same level of exciting imagery that you find in Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, or Novomatic’s Book of Ra, it is a game that has been designed in the same vein. Expect to see forty paylines in this 5-reel game, thirty lines more than its counterparts. There is a decent non-progressive jackpot worth 1,000 coins up for grabs, too. However, the wagering range of 0.40 up to 200.00 a spin is a touch expensive, and we are not fans of the RTP, which is below the industry standard at 94.35%. While not a bad slot by any means, there are more enjoyable action-themed slots out there for you to play.

Special Features

Jack (our intrepid explorer) is the star of the game and doubles up as the slot’s wild symbol. Landing him on the second to fifth reels will see him replace any symbols you might need to pocket a win. However, he is powerless to replace scattered gold chests.

It is worth pointing out that all symbols can appear stacked in this game, save for the scatter. This is true in the base game and the free spin round. With multiple reels potentially showing the same stacked icons, they work in the same way as a typical colossal symbol. If that symbol happens to be a wild icon, you can expect a more than generous return.

When stacked symbols appear on the reels, these gold chests will trigger a free spin round. This game provides an exceedingly generous free spin round compared to its fellow adventure-explorer counterparts, so let us look at that next.

Bonus Feature

The free spin bonus is arguably the most attractive feature in the Action Jack slot. Once triggered, you will start with 20, 40 or 60 spins. The number of spins you begin the round with depends on whether you triggered it with 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols. Either way, you can win up to 500 of them by landing further scatters on the screen. Moreover, any win you happen to land in this round is automatically trebled courtesy of a 3x multiplier. Ultimately, this round is what you are going to want to aim for when playing Action Jack.
