About Double Bonus Video Poker

Double Bonus Video Poker is one of Cryptologic’s few video poker titles. This title has been released to compete against other developers titles, so a lot of effort has been put into it, in a bid to make it stand out from the competition. Nevertheless, Double Bonus Video Poker still offers you the same poker variant style of gameplay as its fellow titles.

How to play

Players will easily be able to work out the menu bar at the bottom of the cards. You can easily adjust your bet from there. After doing so, you will be dealt a total of 5 cards. Those 5 cards will then form your starting hand.

Players can opt to select as many of their cards to discard as they wish, or they can keep them all. After making a decision, new cards will replace those which you no longer require. This will form your final poker hand, which will be measured against the pay-table, which is scarcely visible at the bottom of the screen. If your hand matches one of those on the paytable, then it is a winning hand and you’ll pocket winnings.

Wagering and prizes

Players should take their time with their wagers, as you’ve got a lot of options. Coin values range from 0.25 up to 5.00 in total, and you can wager as many as 5 coins per hand. In this video poker game, you will also be able to bet on anything from 1 and 100 hands at once. As you can imagine, the wagering range is huge, with players able to stake anything from 0.25 per hand, up to 2,500.00 for a one-hundred hand game.

Wining hands in the Double Bonus Video Poker game include Jacks or Better, 2 Pairs, 3 of a Kind, Straights, Flushes, Full Houses, 4 5s through Kings, 4 2s through 4s, Straight Flushes and, of course, the elusive Royal Flush. Winnings worth up to 250x your total bet can be won in this video poker variant.

Final thoughts

Cryptologic have aimed to make Double Bonus Video Poker stand out from the competition. In terms of appearance, they have failed. However, if one looks at this absolutely massive wagering range, then we are impressed. There is no other video poker game on the net offering you those kind of betting options, today.
