TODAY'S WEATHER

About Today’s Weather Video Slots

Today’s Weather is a flash- based online video slot designed for our entertainment pleasure by Genesis Gaming, and operating off Microgamings’ Quickfire platform. This is a very unique slot theme, and like nothing we have seen before. Apart from that, Today’s Weather is a five reel, twenty five pay line game.

Special Features

So, what makes this slot so special? We all talk about the weather, to some people it is an important subject, to others – just small talk. But just about everyone mentions the weather in passing, at least once or twice a day. This game is themed on weather forecasting, so, lest hope it forecasts some winnings too.

Lower value icons are high card indices from nine, through ten, Jack, Queen, King and Ace – nothing unusual there. However special icons include weather symbols like we see on television weather maps. These icons indicate sunny, rainy, snowy and windy conditions, while a globe flanked by a hot and cold thermometer, sporting the words “Wild Weather” plays the wild symbol. The scatter icon is the slots’ logo.

This is a graphically pleasing game where reels have been popped into a rural backdrop, with clear wide skies which can be seen through the reels. A clock in the right hand corner ticks away the hours of night and day, and the backdrop responds to the clock, creating both night and day playing conditions. Occasionally a wild wind blows up and blusters through the game, for even more entertainment value. A betting range of 0.01 up to 50.00 makes this a suitable slot for all takers. Coin size, number of active reels, and auto-play may all be activated by the player themselves.

Bonus Features

There is a free spins type bonus gamewhich triggers when three or more scatter icons land on the lines. This opens into another window where a Five Day Weather Forecast starts the bonus game. Five days of the week appear, and the player is asked to pick a day. A corresponding weather condition pops up, where each weather condition offers its own bonus play. For example when  sunny conditions come up, the winner is entitled to 10, 15, 20, or 25 free spins, together with a 10 x multiplier, and a free spins round that can be re-triggered. When rainy conditions are forecast, then five free spins are given away, where between 1 and 15 extra wilds can appear on the reels. Each weather condition offers different ways to win.
