About Great Czar

The Great Czar slot machine game is Russian in name, and Russian in nature. Great Czar features various members of the last royal Russian house, with other elements in the game taking on a distinctly Russian feel. The down side to the Great Czar slot is that the human characters have been designed using 3D graphics and poor ones at that. This means that they do not necessarily look as good today as they did when the slot first launched. Great Czar allows players to choose coin denominations which range from 0.01 up to 0.05, with players able to wager up to 5 of those per each of the 30 lines in this 5-reel slot. Players are therefore going to be wagering anything from a base minimum of 0.01 per line per spin, up to 7.50 per spin. It’s hardly expensive stuff, especially when the top prize is worth around 500x your total bet.

Special Features

Great Czar contains a wild symbol in the shape of a shield. This shield can substitute for all other symbols in the slot machine game, except for the bonus and scatter icons. Wilds do not offer cash prizes on their own.

Scatter and bonus icons are actually the same symbols. They appear as crown jewel symbols and can offer scattered wins worth 5x, 30x, and 150x your total bet when 3, 4 or 5 appear anywhere on the reels.

Other symbols which appear in this slot include Nicholas and Alexandra, diamond symbols, and of course, the standard high playing card symbols which you would expect to find in any major video slot machine game.

Bonus Feature

If players manage to land 3 or more of the bonus symbols on the reels, they will trigger an Imperial Crown free games feature. In this bonus, players can choose from several towers to pocket a number of free games and a multiplier. The free spins bonus round is then played out with those spins and multipliers in place.

This slot machine game just isn’t as flash as it first sounds. The graphics have not worn well with time, and the features are satisfactory at best. Personally, we’d like to have seen something stand the test of time a little better, with more flexible free spins. That being said, wagers are cheap and prizes are decent, so you can’t grumble at that.
