About Blazing X Slot
Blazing X is a heavily Chinese-inspired slot from one of the leading land-based casino software providers out there, Bally Tech. First appearing in 2019, Blazing X is a five-reel, forty-line slot and one that uses an extensive set of reels, each with five symbols for you to win on. Wagers are bizarre in this release. A spin will cost you just 0.24 a turn (0.16 less than expected), and bets can rise as high as 180.00 a pop. Blazing X is a generous enough release, carrying a non-progressive jackpot that is worth around 250,000 coins and has an RTP, which is right around where we would want it to be, at 95.94%. The big question is can this highly volatile game deliver any action via its special features?
Special Features
Wild symbols are more valuable here than in other slots. In Blazing X, a typical wild symbol can substitute for any symbol (well, standard paying ones) you need to land a win, but they can also provide a multiplier and more.
If a wild symbol lands on the third reel, it will expand to cover all five spots on that reel. It can also increase a multiplier, located away to the left of the reels. That multiplier will remain in place for the following three (paid) spins. Additional wilds landing on the reels can see the multiplier rise higher, from 1x to 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x and finally, 25x. If you reach the top, the multiplier will remain on 25x until no new wild wins occur, after which it drops to its default (1x) value.
You may wish to keep your eyes peeled for a Chinese Dragon in this slot. This is essentially a scatter icon. Land three of those (specifically on the second, third and fourth reels), and you will get to play the Blazing X slot’s free spin bonus.
Bonus Feature
Once triggered, the Blazing X free spin bonus delivers a total of ten free spins to players. There is nothing unordinary or that stands out in this free game feature. You will get to use the same multiplier bar (and wilds) as the base game, so you won’t lose anything, either. Ultimately, the free spin round feels a little bit flat, and Bally Tech could arguably have done something a little different to spice up the action here.
