Bally Technologies Casinos & Games

About Bally Technologies

Bally Technologies (more commonly referred to simply as Bally Tech) have a long and proud history of developing games for the online casino world. Bally originated in 1932, and was one of the first casino software developers, producing games for 1950s Las Vegas casinos. Known as Ballys back then, they changed their name to Bally Technologies back in 2006, before merging with Scientific Games (SG) in 2014. Although they now operate under the SG umbrella, Bally Tech still produces games for the land-based casino world as well as the online one. Lately, they have also started dabbling in the mobile gaming industry.

Online casino games

The vast majority of Bally Tech’s online slot machine games actually stem from the land-based casino world. They port their land-based slots to the online casino world, knowing full well just how popular they are before they hit online casinos.

Bally Tech’s games are not as complex as those you will find from other developers, largely because they are based on their land-based cousins. Most offer simple gaming structure in terms of reels and paylines, although there are a few oddities. Bally tech does not produce table games and instead focuses solely on slots. Some of their more impressive and successful titles include Hot Shot, Black Gold, Titanic (which is based on the 1997 hit movie of the same name), Friends (based in the popular TV series), Lady Robin Hood, Havana Cubana, and Mayan Treasures.

Top casinos running Bally Tech software

As legendary as this casino software provider is, they have never really been interested in powering online casinos with their own software. Instead, their software is often offered alongside that of other developers, by casinos wishing to offer a diverse library of games. Naturally, since they only develop slots (and so few of those are progressive jackpot slots), Bally Tech doesn’t have the library on their own to power such casinos. None of this impacts Bally Tech’s reputation, though, which is amongst the most trusted of casino software providers.

Players hoping to sample some of the fine games that this developer has provided can try their luck at Casino777, Grosvenor Casino, InterCasino, Mr green Casino, Pink Casino, Spin and Win Casino, Svenska Casino, UK Casino, Vera & John Casino, VIP Club Casino, and Wixstars Casino, amongst others. In total, over 25 casinos currently offering software from Bally Technologies and none of them are “little” casino sites.
