Spigo Casinos & Games

Spigo began in 2006, when a group of casino software developers decided to form their own company. The Danish casino software developers have now put together an ensemble of around 50 games, which are licensed by the Danish Gaming Authority and the Maltese Gaming Authority (MGA). Spigo have their software regularly checked for fairness by iTech Labs, and have developed flash and HTML5 games which are fully mobile-friendly, and can run on Apple iOS and Google Android powered portable gaming devices. Ever since 2012, the company has moved ever so slightly away from online casino gaming and more towards social gaming and casual gaming, and that has caused them to lose some friends and popularity in the online casino world.

Online casino games

Spigo’s gaming library has around 50 titles, which isn’t too bad for a small-scale casino software provider. We would say that their games are largely slots, although a few non-slot machine games have also been developed by Spigo during their time in the casino industry. Most of their games are popular in Denmark, which explains why a lot of their games have themes geared towards that population.

Expect to be able to find slot machine games which contain plenty of scatters, wilds and bonus rounds such as free spins. Spigo games are also known for their instant win, click and pick bonus features.

Since their move away from the online casino world, many of Spigo’s top slots have become unavailable at top casino sites. As such, their social and casual games have taken priority. Amongst those popular games are Yatzy, Udo, Solitaire 7, Mahjong, Cross Word, Freecell, Backgammon and a dominoes game; hardly the stuff of legend.

Top casinos running Spigo software

Today, you won’t find too many casino software providers eager to offer games from Spigo. Although this developer has worked in unison with other software providers to launch their games on rival developers’ platforms, few casinos have taken the bait.

Those casinos which continue to offer titles from Spigo include Casino Mate, House of Jack Casino, Mr X Bet Casino, and Spilleren Casino. VIKS Casino, Anna Casino, Buck & Butler, Punchbets, and Vbet Casino also carry a few games here and there.
