Yggdrasil Introduces 3 Piggies of Bank With New Coin Feature

Yggdrasil has added another slot to its catalogue with 3 Piggies of Bank, a September 9 release that reworks the familiar three-pig theme around a bank robbery setting. The 5×3 video slot introduces the developer’s Lock’em & Load’em™ Game Engagement Mechanic while combining it with several bonus routes tied to the game’s pig and wolf characters.

The slot runs on 25 paylines and comes with low volatility. Players can encounter RTP settings between 90.5% and 96%, depending on the version available, while the listed hit frequency stands at 25.2%. Its maximum win is €112,500, corresponding to a top multiplier of x5,625.

Yggdrasil has structured the game around Coin collection, three Bank Features and a separate Free Spins round. Mama Pig also appears during regular play as an Expanding Wild, giving the base game another feature before any of the larger bonus sequences begin.

Lock’em & Load’em Brings Five-Respins Format

Lock’em & Load’em™ provides the main Coin feature in 3 Piggies of Bank. The round starts with five respins and uses all 15 positions on the game grid.

Whenever a Coin lands, it remains fixed in place. Landing another Coin returns the number of available respins to five, allowing the feature to continue as long as additional Coins keep appearing. The sequence finishes once the respins run out or Coins occupy every available position.

When the feature concludes, the game totals the values shown on the collected Coins and uses that amount for the resulting prize.

Four special prize levels can also appear during the feature: Mini, Minor, Major and Grand. Their values range from 15 to €1,000. Filling all 15 grid positions makes the Grand Prize available, giving players an additional target while the respins continue.

The mechanic sits alongside three separate Bank Features. Players can activate Collect, Double or Mystery after landing the necessary combination of Wolf Coins and a Piggie Coin. Each Bank Feature provides its own path through the bonus portion of the game.

Jose Kadala, Chief Commercial Officer at Yggdrasil, said: “We wanted to give this familiar theme a very Yggdrasil twist. The characters, visual identity, humor and, most importantly, the gameplay have all been designed to feel distinctly Yggdrasil.”

He added: “The aim was to create something players instantly understand but then give them a fresh and unexpected experience once they start playing.”

The new release places the Lock’em & Load’em mechanic at the center of that approach. Its locked Coin system allows a bonus round to keep extending whenever new symbols land, while the full-grid objective creates a route toward the Grand Prize.

Players can also move into the Bank Features through combinations of Wolf and Piggie Coins or reach Free Spins with the Blow It Down symbols. With a low-volatility profile and a maximum multiplier of x5,625, 3 Piggies of Bank adds another feature-focused title to Yggdrasil’s slot range following its September 9 launch.
