Spinomenal Adds 3 Chinese Charms to Slot Portfolio

Spinomenal has expanded its online slot portfolio with 3 Chinese Charms, a 5x3 title built around coin-based bonus mechanics, Special Bonus symbols and four jackpot prizes.

The game takes place in a mist-covered gorge surrounded by waterfalls, with its visual theme incorporating jade lanterns, gold ingots and silk fans across the reels. A money tree covered with coins acts as the Wild symbol and can replace any regular symbol.

The Wild does not substitute for the Bonus, BOOST, COLLECT, MULTI or Jackpot symbols. Five Wilds on a payline award x10 the bet, while four pay x2 and three return x0.5. The shorter Wild combinations only produce a payout when followed by a Bonus or Special Bonus symbol.

Three coloured pots positioned above the grid play a central role in the slot’s features. The green, red and blue pots correspond with three types of Special Bonus coins: BOOST, MULTI and COLLECT.

Special Bonus Coins Affect Reel Values

Each Special Bonus coin performs a different function when it appears.

The BOOST coin selects a random amount ranging from x2 to x10 of the bet. That amount is then added to every applicable symbol on the reels, with the BOOST coin retaining the same value itself.

MULTI applies a different calculation. The coin randomly selects a multiplier of x2, x3 or x5 and applies it to values across the grid. Its own value is also calculated using the selected multiplier.

The COLLECT coin gathers the values attached to every Bonus coin currently present and takes the resulting amount as its own value.

A fourth Special Bonus symbol, MYSTERY, becomes available during the Bonus Game. When it appears, the coin randomly changes into a BOOST, MULTI or COLLECT symbol, or alternatively into a Jackpot symbol.

These mechanics are tied to the three pots displayed above the game grid, giving each Special Bonus coin a clear visual connection to its corresponding feature.

Bonus Game Includes Four Jackpot Levels

The Bonus Game begins when six or more qualifying symbols land during a single spin. Those symbols remain locked in position and players receive three spins to continue the feature.

Additional Bonus and Special Bonus coins can appear during the round. Whenever a new qualifying coin lands, the remaining spin counter resets to three, extending the opportunity for more symbols to fill the grid.

Mini, Minor and Major Jackpot prizes can also be awarded during the feature.

The highest fixed jackpot is the Grand Jackpot. It is triggered when all 15 positions on the 5x3 grid are filled and awards x3,000 the total bet.

The MYSTERY coin is exclusive to the Bonus Game and adds another possible route to the different Special Bonus mechanics or one of the Jackpot symbols.

Alongside the standard Bonus Game trigger, 3 Chinese Charms includes a Bonus Blast Feature that can activate during the base game. The feature becomes available after Special Bonus coins have been collected on earlier spins.

When Bonus Blast activates, additional coins of the same Special Bonus type are scattered across the reels. This process continues until enough qualifying symbols appear to trigger the Bonus Game.

Buy Feature Provides Direct Bonus Entry

Players can also use the Buy Feature to enter the Bonus Game directly instead of waiting for the required number of qualifying symbols to land during normal play.

The cost of activating the feature changes according to the selected bet level.

The combination of the three main Special Bonus coins shapes how values can develop once the Bonus Game begins, while the MYSTERY symbol introduces an additional random element during the feature.
