Strap yourselves in for another nerve-racking voyage with Nolimit City, the creative geniuses behind the Kiss My Chainsaw series. After a spine-tingling road adventure with Chainsaw Larry, we are plunging headfirst into the macabre healthcare universe in their freshest game, Disturbed.
Known for their knack of blending the unconventional with mega-hit games such as Mental and the more recent Serial, Nolimit City is traversing uncharted territory with Disturbed. It carries a unique brand of eeriness, lurking ominously behind an operating room's sterile screens.
The Terrifying Tale of Dr. Daniel Eath's Clinic
The twisted medical facility run by Dr. Daniel Eath is at the heart of Disturbed. As per Nolimit City's depiction, this is a place where exceptional service often leaves patients gasping for breath - an unconventional feature for a medical establishment, to say the least. For those of us virtually exploring, it's a gasping spectacle, not for its beauty but for the strikingly sharp graphics and immersive audio that create a chilling ambiance.
The gameplay is set within an intriguing reel area comprising four Enhancer Cells that modify the setup using characteristic Nolimit xMechanics like xSplit, xWays, xNudge, and others. It's a whirlwind of action, living up to its reputation as an exhilarating Nolimit City slot.
In the Bonus Modes, Pre-Op Spins, and Annihilation Spins, all restraint evaporates. Dr. D Eath cranks up the intensity, activating all four Enhancer Cells simultaneously, which results in some outlandish combinations that can lead to colossal wins.
The Angel of Death and the Six Feet Under Feature
One of the game's most unique features is the Angel of Death. Landing four Tombstones in the enhancer cells and a stacked Dr. D Eath symbol can instantly send players Six Feet Under, reaping a maximum theoretical payout of 54,391x the base bet.
However, don't expect the Angel of Death to show up often. Disturbed is classified as an Extremely Volatile title, living up to the reputation of Nolimit City's other boundary-pushing releases that gamers worldwide have grown to love and anticipate.
Head of Product for Nolimit City, Per Lindheimer commented: “With plenty of features popping up all over the place and a banging synth-filled soundtrack, you’re bound to have a good time. It’s time to embrace the chaos. The Doctor will see you now.”
