Wild Sheriff is played over 5 reels and 20 paylines, although all 20 of those lines are fixed into place. Players do, however, have the option of adjusting their total stakes, from a floor of 0.20 per spin, up to a capped ceiling bet of a hefty 2,000.00 per spin. While we can’t imagine that there will be too many takers for the costliest of wagers, the non-progressive jackpot – which is capped at 1,000 coins and won when 5 wilds appear on a line – certainly makes Wild Sheriff an appealing slot to play. Unfortunately, the game is not as commonly available as other, Wild West-themed slots.
Special Features
Aside from delivering non-progressive jackpots, wild symbols can also substitute for all other symbols save for scatters/free spin icons. These symbols can also expand at times, too, occupying whole reels.
At any point in the game, the sheriff may pop onto the reels and shoot the reels five times at random. When he does this, wild symbols will appear on the reels, and the expanding wild will appear as mentioned before and dominate the third reel.
Following any win in this slot, players can choose to gamble their winnings. Doing so involves hitting the gamble button, after which a 50/50 card game is triggered. Here, players who successfully predict the colour of the next card in the sequence will double their wins. Predict incorrectly, and you will lose your winnings.
Bonus Feature
