About Lucky Leprechauns
Lucky Leprechauns is one of Saucify’s video slots. Released when the company was known as BetSoft, this is one of their older titles, and it shows. The graphics are comical, if somewhat dated. Lucky Leprechauns has your usual “luck of the Irish” theme to it, and the symbols that appear on the reels represent that. Such symbols include the titular lucky leprechaun, a golden horseshoe, an emerald ring and a clover, amongst others. Lucky Leprechauns is played as a 5-reel, 40-payline video slot, which contains a non-progressive jackpot worth 8,000 coins in total.
Special Features
Players can start wagering on the Lucky Leprechauns slot by choosing the value of their coins. These range from 0.01 up to no more than 0.25. Players can then opt to stake anything from 1 to 10 coins per line. Lucky Leprechauns can be an expensive slot to play, with minimum and maximum wagers ranging from a low of only 0.01 per line, per spin, up to a high of 100.00 per spin.
Fortunately, you do get a good return for your wagers. Firstly, the lucky leprechaun is the wild symbol. When this wild appears, it can replace all other symbols, barring scatter icons. If a player lands 5 wilds on any active payline, they will in the non-progressive jackpot of 8,000 coins.
The scatter icon is shaped like a rainbow shooting cloud. When 2, 3, 4 or 5 scatters are located in any positions on the reels, the player will scoop up scattered wins of 2x, 5x, 20x or 100x their total bet, respectively.
Bonus Features
A bonus feature has also been included in Lucky Leprechauns. In order to trigger it, players will need to find the magic harp symbols. Magic harp symbols are capable of appearing anywhere on the reels, and they will trigger a free spins bonus feature when enough of them are found. For instance, players will bag 5 free games for three such symbols. They can increase this to 10 free games for 4 free spins icons, and if they land all 5 of the free spin symbols on the reels, they’ll bag a total of 15 free games. All of the free spins are paid out at the rate that triggered the bonus in the first place.
One other feature is triggered randomly. At any point in the game, a lucky leprechaun may appear and magically turn symbols into wilds. This feature isn’t available in the free spins bonus game.
