Not really being sure what a “Gagnant” is, we are not really sure how the name of this Betsoft online slot came about. We have Googled the word “Gagnant”, and apparently this is a French word which means “Winner”. Why the developer chose to use French, we also have no clue, but at least we now know what it means. Special Features
What is special about this slot, besides its exclusive partially “French” name? Well…we would certain say that the prize money is an extra special feature. Icons featured are Cherries, Lemons, Grapes, Bells and Stars, and five lines allows the player to win horizontally, as well as diagonally. There is also a female face as an icon which offers the highest prize money. To be honest -at first sight I thought that this female icon might have been a “Gagnant”, and in a way she is, as she wins us the largest prize.
Five lines must be played in this slot – this is fixed, but the coin value size can be changed to from 0.02 up to 0.50. A maximum wager is 10.00, and on winning the player is invited to participate in a guessing game. This is a gamble feature, and we have seen it in a number of Betsoft online slots – where the player risks their winning for a chance to double their money on a coin toss. Unfortunately this writer has been terribly unlucky at guessing whether heads or tails would come up, so we cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone else risk their winnings this way.
Graphically speaking the slot is reasonably well designed to appear like a free-standing slot on a casino floor, but we wouldn’t say it is exactly spectacular. Ambient sounds are apt, and lets just say you will know when you have won.
