Special Features
A golden Sphinx appears as this slot’s wild symbol, which doesn’t come as a surprise. It is the only thematic icon in the game, though. Landing this symbol on the reels will see it substitute for all other symbols save for scatters and it can double the value of all winning combinations in which it appears. Wild symbols are the best-paying symbols in the Golden Sphinx slot. Landing five of them on any payline in the game (you’ll stand a better chance with all 20 activated) can see you win as much as 100,000 coins in all.
As for scatters, they appear as rather out-of-place treasure chests. These symbols can only appear on all of the reels of the game and will trigger a free spins bonus when they do so on the third, fourth and fifth reels at the same time. Scatter symbols can deliver a win worth roughly 5,000 coins if you land 5 of them on the reels, which is pretty poor considering the value of the other symbols in the slot.
