Scatter icons appear as worms. These worms can trigger a bonus round if 3 or more appear on any active payline. Landing 3 bonus icons on the screen is easy, but landing them on a payline is far more complicated, so it could be a while before you trigger the bonus when playing this slot.

Bonus Feature

There is only bonus round in this slot. It is not a free spins bonus, so don’t expect to find one of those in this game, which is a real shame. Once 3 or more worms have triggered the feature, you will find yourself staring at a Worm Race. The worms on the screen will race and you need to back one of them to win. First there is a qualifying race, and then there is a final race. The more successful you are in these races, the larger the cash prize you will win.

Personally, we’d have liked to have seen a free spins bonus round in this slot, but the absence of one is not exactly too damaging to the game. If you love quirky slots, then Freaky Fruits is for you. If you like serious slot games, it is best to give this one a miss.
