About Firestorm
Firestorm is a rather cheesy video slot, and one which has been developed by Quickspin. The game is very elementary in terms of what it offers, with very simple jewels and gem symbols being spread across the reels. There is supposed to be some sort of Aztec theme running throughout the slot, although that doesn’t really come off. Firestorm features a total of 5 reels, upon which sit a standard 25 paylines. Firestorm won’t allow you to adjust those lines, with players looking at wagering anything from a low of 0.25 per spin, up to a maximum of 100.00 per spin. Top prizes are worth 500 coins in this slot, if you can line up 5 wilds on any active line that is.
Special Features
That wild icon comes in the shape of a green cubed symbol. This wild icon can replace all other symbols in the game, barring the bonus symbol, and also happens to be the same symbol you need to win the jackpot, as we have mentioned.
There is a burning mask icon, and that symbol is easy to spot. It is also pretty important. This is the symbol you need to trigger the bonus round. As a matter of fact, you will actually need two or more of them to trigger the bonus. This bonus is the only one you will find in this slot.
Bonus Feature
Once it has actually been triggered, players will be taken to the respins feature. In this bonus, wild symbols are locked into place, as are bonus icons. A randomly selected symbol will also be locked into place for the bonus. If you can land three or more bonus symbols on the reels, then players will be gifted an increasing multiplier which is worth up to 5x the normal rate of pay. The more locked symbols you locate on the reels during the respin, the more respins you will be given to play. ‘
Firestorm is a little shy on special features, but make no mistake about it, the one is does have can see you win decently. Sadly, the slot isn’t up to par graphically. Its theme is rather basic, and there is nothing that really stands out in the game. Still, if you are only after a simple, decent paying slot game, then what’s the harm in giving it a whirl, right?
