About Catch Phrase

Catch Phrase is a video slot based on the hit UK television game show. Unlike the TV show, where you must “say what you see”, the Catch Phrase video slot is far more “you win what you see”. Catch Phrase is quite a popular game, and has been created by Endemol, one of the leading developers of UK TV show themed slot games. Catch Phrase is played over 5 reels, and there are 20 paylines for you to bet on. Your bet per line will range from anything upwards of 0.01 to 25.00 per line. Paylines can be adjusted and this means that Catch Phrase will cost you no less than 0.01 per line, per spin, and no more than 500.00 per spin. Up to 5,000 coins can be won in the Catchphrase slot.

Special Features

Plenty of special features are available in Catch Phrase. Firstly, the Catch Phrase logo substitutes itself for all other icons in the game, barring scatter icons. It is also the jackpot paying icons, seeing players win up to 5,000 coins if they land five of these symbols on any active payline.

There are three scatter icons in this game, too. Each one offers players a different bonus to claim. Three more of these respective icons will trigger each bonus. All of the scatters feature Mr Chips (the mascot of Catch Phrase). The flying super hero Mr Chips will launch the Super Catch Phrase bonus, whilst the blue/red Mr Chips icons will launch the Catch Phrase bonus. The Mr Chips money icon will launch the Ready Money bonus.

Bonus Feature

In the Super Catch Phrase bonus, players must make their way through a fairly sizeable pyramid one level at a time. The further they go, the more bonuses they win. This is just like the final challenge in the television show.

In the Catch Phrase bonus, players must answer catchphrases correctly before their opponent. This played is played over 5 rounds, with prizes multiplied. If this bonus is triggered during a free spins bonus round, then the player will pick up additional free spins as prizes, too.

The Ready Money bonus will see players pocket free spins and multipliers. They can collect these by using the Catch Phrase buzzer to uncover selected squares and icons, behind which are prizes. Once the prizes have been determined, the Ready Money bonus ends, and players will begin their free spins bonus.
