Special Features
As the name so obviously suggests this slot is themed on the ever popular mystery of the city of Atlantis. It was fabled to be a city that held great treasure, but which has long since has sunk into the sea, and passed out of the sight of all memory. The belief is that if this great city was found today, great wealth would also be uncovered, and some treasure hunters have not given up on the search.
Symbols include jewellery, maps, a compass, be-jewelled pyramids, and other artefacts. Diving gear, a fantasy submarine, warrior helmets, and other archetypal items related to the them. We cannot quite make out what the scatter icon is, but it is a sort of turquoise and gold medallion, land three or more of these on an active line, and be awarded free spins. Free spins can be re-triggered, and this writer won 316 free spins in one go. The wild icon is a sort of circular crystal thingy, and only substitute for certain icons, while a series of four special symbols also helps the player land special wins.
Graphic rendering is very good, even though we cannot quite make out what all the items are, they are certainly all very sparkly, and at least look interesting. Sounds however, these are rather odd, and consist of some strange “boinging” sounds. These are sounds that this player turned down very low, and somehow don’t seem to fit in with the theme.
Bonus Feature
Sadly there is no bonus feature on Atlantis Dive. It is a shame because this is the kind of game that lends itself to the idea of a bonus round. However, we can’t all have everything can we, so, just enjoy playing the game. It is guaranteed to entertain – but remember to turn the sound down.
