About Casino Wars
Casino Wars is a thrilling but straightforward table game developed by 1x2 Gaming. This card game is a casino version of the popular classic game of War and is played on a table similar to the Blackjack table. The main objective in this game is to beat the dealer’s hand by obtaining a higher score. This title uses six standard 52-card decks, excluding jokers. The dealer sits across the players and draws cards for every player and one for himself. Card values are then compared, and if yours rank higher than the dealer’s, you will win a prize relative to your bet.
There are two types of bets available in Casino Wars; the ante bet and the side bet or tie. The ante bet is the primary wager and is paid when the player's hand beats the dealer's, while the tie bet is paid when there is a draw. Although the bets are different, you cannot make the tie bet without the ante. The betting range for the game is between five cents and 100 credits, and all payouts are based on the 10:1 ratio. Players can play a single hand and place different wagers for the ante and tie bets.
Special Features
The value of the higher hand in this game is calculated using the standard rule of deuces to aces. Unlike other card games, suits are irrelevant, and their value is not considered during a payout. If the player has a higher rank, they will receive a payout, but if the dealer wins, they lose their ante. Whenever the dealer reveals their card, you must choose between surrendering and going to war. If you decide to surrender, you will receive half the ante value and end the game.
If a player chooses to go to war, they must make a side bet of the same value as the ante. The dealer then cuts three face-down cards and one card each for himself and the player. If your card is higher-ranking or equal to the dealer's, you will win and receive a payout for the ante. However, if the dealer has a better card, you will lose both bets.
Bonus Feature
Although Casino Wars doesn’t have extra features such as bonuses and jackpots, the game has an attractive percentage payout of 97.12%. The winning strategy is also simple and involves a choice between surrendering and going to war. The house edge for surrender is approximately 3.7%, while going to war is 2.8%. Therefore, the simple strategy is never to surrender!
