About Beat Me

A name like Beat Me could have a drastic impact on whether online gambling fans would choose to play this game. Beat Me comes from the Play ‘N Go portfolio, and is card based casino table game.

Special Features

Beat Me opens up to a green baize card table, featuring a two buttons marked “Deal”, and “Clear All”, as well as a card shoe, stacks of chips, and player chips in values of 1.00, 5.00. 10.00, 25.00 and 100.00. There are two circles on the table, one for the bet, and one for the Tie Bet. The tie bet pays 10:1 so it highly worthwhile to take this wager, even though ties are rare, if the player wins, this chip is returned to the player.

Once chip size has been chosen, this (these) are placed in the betting area, and the deal button is clicked. This deals one card to the player, and one to the house. It was a little perturbing to this writer to be dealt a two of hearts three times in a row, but we subscribe this to the fact that one pack of cards is probably being used and shuffled by the RNG after every game, so was probably fluke.

As this is a version of Hi-Lo, if the player receives a lower card than the house, the house wins, and vice versa. If the player receives a higher card than the house, the player wins. If this game ends in a tie, the player is invited to “Go To War”, or surrender. Should the player wish to go to war, they click on this button in which case more cards are dealt. The player receives one more card, and the dealer has two cards face down, and the last card face up. The total of his two face up cards should be higher than the player for the house to win. However, if the player has bet on the “Tie” space he still wins.

This is a very simple casino card game, even more simple than Baccarat or Blackjack, that could very well keep players entertained.  Table limits are a minimum bet of 1.00, and a maximum bet of 100.00, and this applies to the Tie Bet too. It is certainly not a high rollers game, but then again 100.00 is a lot of money to most.
