Special Features

The playing field in Chain Reactors Super Trails is identical to the original in that it is a 7 by 7 grid into which a series of happy characters fall. Any groups of five or more characters will vanish once they've settled into their new positions on the screen, to be replaced by more characters. Any further groups of five or more will vanish, and so on until there are no more sets to form. Each group receives a 0.1x – 2000x stake multiplier.

This is a new feature that works similarly to the free spins you could get when playing a five-reel slot. It's activated by making seven or more groups of five in a row, and you may keep track of the number in the right-hand box. Free falls will begin immediately, with the bomb and fire emblems being replaced by two special icons. More free falls can also be triggered from within this feature.

Bonus Features

The ladder on the left-hand side of the reels is filled when a group of that type is formed; each location beneath the flame and the bomb is filled when a group of that type is formed.
