Special Features

This is a game of Battleships in the age-old tradition, and is of great graphic quality. Basically the player gets to choose what they wish to wager, and is given up to twenty chances to hit their target. It is designed much like one might expect the inside of a control room of a battleship to look. Each ship in the grid on the sea is represented by a radar image at the top of the screen, and tells us what we can win if we land a hit. There are buttons, dials, knobs, and all sorts of gauges, and the moving bow of a battleship from where we fire at targets on the grid.

Select the stake from 0.50, up to a maximum bet of £500.00. Once the wagering amount has been chosen the player can click on start and the game gets underway. We are also able to select a different playing board if the one selected randomly does not please. The board does change for every new game, and it is quite easy to  break even.

We are given twenty opportunities to hits the targets, which are various aircraft carriers, ships and boats on the grid. A random coordinate is generated with each click on the “Fire” button and a shot fires from the gun on the bow of the battleship. Each vessel can be partly or completely destroyed, and is worth a certain value for either partial or complete destruction.

It must however be stressed that the player firing upon the grid, has not control regarding where his shot land, these “hits” are generated randomly, as this is completely a random number game, and not a game of skill. It is also a great deal of fun to play, and promises hours of entertainment to those fans who loved playing Battleships when they were young.
