About Amaya Blackjack
This Amaya version of blackjack gives you a number of alternative ways to play the game. Your choices begin when you first access this game. You’ll immediately be given a chance to select your betting range. There are three choices you can make, beginning with a minimum of 1.00 and a maximum bet of 100.00. If you prefer, you can choose a betting range from 5.00 to 250.00. If you’re a high roller, Amaya lets you set the minimum bet at 15.00 and the maximum at 500.00.
No matter which of these options you prefer, once you make your selection, you’ll be taken right to the blackjack table. In Amaya’s version, there are not any excessive use of graphics. The table’s simulated felt is light green with the brightest light above the middle of the table. This gives the effect of making it seem like a lamp is right above.
This version of the game has a narrator who acts as the dealer’s voice. You will hear her tell you to place your bets as soon as the table opens up on your screen. She describes all of the action, telling you what your cards total. At the end of a hand, she lets you know if you have won. If you prefer no talking, you have the option to turn off the audio.
How to Play Amaya Blackjack
Amaya Blackjack is played with eight decks of cards that are reshuffled after every hand. This is a multi-hand version of blackjack, so you begin the game by deciding how many hands you want to play. You place your bets in any or all of the three circles. The bets must be within the range that you chose when you first accessed the game. If not, the dealer will tell you to change the size of the bet.
In this version of blackjack, you can double down on any hand you are dealt with the exception of a blackjack. If you make an unusual double down decision, such as doubling when you have 17 or 18, the game will assume you just clicked the wrong button and they will ask you to make your selection again.
Amaya Blackjack also allows you to split any paired cards and to double down after you split. You can only split once. Split Aces are dealt just one card each.
