About Blackjack Review
The title may make this game sound more important, but this is simply Sheriff Gaming's version of European Blackjack with almost all of the same rules. You can play as many as three hands at a time in Blackjack EU, with different-sized bets on each hand if you choose.
Some of the terminology in this variation may be a little different than what you're used to in a Blackjack game. You aren't asked if you want to Hit your hand, you just press the Card button. The Double Down Bet says Rebet x2. However, it won't take long to get adjusted to these terms. There is also a narrator of the action who will prompt you through each step. You can just turn off the sound if you don't find it helpful.
One helpful feature offered in this game allows you to replay a game just finished. Whether you made a great play or made a mistake, the replay feature can help you learn more about your play.
Special Features
Most of the rules of Blackjack EU or European Blackjack are the same as other versions of the game with one dramatic difference. There is no hole card for the Dealer. This means that play will always continue after the original cards are dealt.
You can still make an Insurance bet in this version of the game and you will still get 2-1 odds, but you won't find out if it pays off until you finish playing your hand or hands. Only then will the Dealer's Hole Card, which isn't really in a Hole, appear.
Special Strategy
If there is the possibility that the Dealer can get a blackjack, you probably want to play cautiously. Any extra bets you make by splitting your cards or doubling down will all be lost if the Dealer has an Ace and Ten as his first two cards. If he had a hole card, you wouldn't be able to make any more bets if he had a Natural 21. With no hole card, you can potentially lose a lot more money, especially if you're playing multiple hands.
Other Features
Not all the rules of Blackjack EU are unfriendly for the player. You have an extra chance to double down if your first two cards total 9. This can be a very profitable opportunity for players if they use this option judiciously.
